Centre of Excellence commitment

With social development at the core of our sustainability strategy, we are proud to be leveraging our Centre of Excellence (CoE) to develop skills training and employment opportunities for South African youth in the increasingly important field of technology.
 
Our CoE candidates are hard at work on an accelerated training programme at the CapaCiTiZA technology campus in Cape Town. Ardagh Group IT leaders visited the campus to see how the candidates are doing. During the visit, our IT team strengthened relationships with the candidates through one-on-one workshops where they could explore shared ideas, identify individual needs and challenges and gain a glimpse of what the candidates’ long-term career paths might look like.
 
We are committed to providing our candidates with full support once they complete their accelerated training and move on to our CoE where they will join Ardagh’s global team through our partnership with EXL. Read more about our sustainability strategy in our 2023 Sustainability Report.
