Ardagh for Education brings KiTec to Neuenhagen

Nearly two years ago, we announced a major multi-year grant to Wissensfabrik to deliver science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education to students in primary and secondary schools in the 13 communities in which we operate across Germany. Over the course of ten years, we expect that our sponsored education programmes in Germany will have benefitted more than 200,000 primary and secondary school students and delivered best-in-class teacher training to more than 1,100 teachers across more than 350 schools.

One of these schools – “Kleine Sprachfüchse” in Neuenhagen – was recently featured in a video filmed by a local TV channel. An Ardagh for Education partner since August 2023, this nursery school completed KiTec training for two teachers in March 2024 at the Wissensfabrik office in Ludwigshafen. Funding for the training and two sets of KiTec classroom materials was provided by Ardagh. Niklas Schwenk, Plant Program Manager and Neuenhagen’s Ardagh for Education ambassador, visited the school to see children get to grips with their new toolkits.
