Sustainability ratings at Ardagh

Ardagh’s goal is to be the leading supplier of inherently sustainable packaging. Our gold-level certification by external rating agency, EcoVadis was awarded to us in 2019 for the fourth consecutive year in a row. We were awarded the highest level of recognition, gold-level standard, which is only achieved by the top 3% of companies assessed in the industry. Maintaining our gold-level rating reflects our continuous commitment towards sustainability.

We also received a B-level rating based on our 2018 data for Carbon Disclosure Project’s (CDP) climate change and water submissions, an improvement on the previous year in both categories. Environmental performance, as part of an overall sustainability strategy, has become increasingly important for our customers. Our ratings with EcoVadis and CDP underline our continuous commitment towards environmental management.
