Ardagh Brazil to invest in expansion

Ardagh Group recently announced the planned expansion of production at its Jacareí and Manaus can and end facilities, respectively. These projects aim to meet its customers’ growing demand for infinitely-recyclable and sustainable aluminium packaging.

Since 2017, the Jacareí facility, located near Sao Paolo, has been operating at full capacity. Ardagh’s Manaus ends facility, commissioned during 2018, will also increase capacity to meet growing customer demand.

These two projects will be implemented during 2019, with Manaus scheduled to complete in the third quarter of 2019 and the Jacareí investment taking effect from the first quarter of 2020.

These recent and planned investments are consistent with Ardagh’s commitment to support the growth prospects of the Brazilian can market.
