Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Leadership Class

Earlier this year, the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) awarded Ardagh Group its Leadership Class ratings for sustainability performance. The CDP has now scored Ardagh “A” for Supplier Engagement based on its work with suppliers around climate change. The CDP is a not-for-profit that runs a global disclosure system which helps different stakeholders to manage environmental impacts.

The Supplier Engagement score reviews the level of detail, comprehensiveness, and awareness of climate change issues, Ardagh’s methods and progress towards actions taken on climate change with suppliers.

“Our latest rating from CDP provides a huge endorsement to our team,” said John Sadlier, Ardagh’s Chief Sustainability Officer. “This latest score from CDP places Ardagh higher than the European regional average which is hugely encouraging for our road ahead.”
